Two or more buddies go away from their
wives and partners for a weekend of fishing, drinking and fun in the great
outdoors undisturbed by neighbours, phone calls or kids. They meet up with the
local hunk of a ranger who they invite to stay and have a beer. In next to no
time they are all naked and sharing full-on man sex.
Isn’t that the quintessential porn movie
set-up that every horny guy in a relationship yearns to emulate? And from recent conversations I’ve been
having, it actually does happen (though not usually with “Mister Ranger
Sirrrrr” being involved). And not only in Brokeback Mountain terrain.
A buddy weekend, ostensibly to go fishing
in some remote location, is the ideal way for two or more guys to have sex that
otherwise is nearly impossible during normal daily life. The concept of a
fishing weekend or a hiking trip is universally accepted as sacrosanct
man-time, unsullied by women or kids, where men can be men. What happens on
these weekends stays only with the participants.
I’m hearing stories about nudity around the
camping spot for the entire weekend. Nude swimming, nude drinking bouts, nude
fishing in the stream. And then there is the sex – forget your everyday
masturbation, these weekends are about fucking, sucking, multiple partners as
well as a bit of experimental light bondage, tit clamps, maybe even some land-locked
water sports. It’s about spur-of-the-moment bareback action fuelled by alcohol
and maybe a little marijuana or other intensifier added for additional
loosening of the inhibitions.
One man confided that to sleep naked in a
tent with two other guys wrapped around him was a bucket list item he’d
fantasised about for years. Peppered with additional sex throughout the night
and first thing after dawn he couldn’t have been happier. The fact that they
didn’t even try to catch any fish didn’t concern him. In fact they purchased a
couple from a roadside vendor on the way home just to make their time look
legit.
Another told me that he’d lusted after a
neighbour who was an avid fisherman. Neither knew about the others M2M sexual
interest. It was only after they’d pitched the tent and had their first beers
that a noticeable erection in the shorts of one of them indicated a sexual
interest. Some crotch rubbing soon made it apparent that it was time to get
naked. After a bit of hesitant fumbling they began playing with each other’s

What I also heard from the conversations

of being in an all male environment and one that had no boundaries. It was
total male bonding where the conversations about repressed male/male sexuality
opened up honest discussion.

This spilled over into talk about sexual
frustrations within the marriage, the pain of knowing your teenage kids were
having more sex than you were, exchanges of information about where to find sex
with other men in the neighbourhood and probably above all, they not only got to
see, touch and pleasure another naked guy but the same pleasures were given
back to him. It wasn’t about being gay or bi, it was simply guys having sexual
fun without obligations or giving that fun a name. Like in teen sexual
experimentation it was simply a few guys having no-harm enjoyment.
A weekend away at the football, a car
rally, a snow weekend, a trip up the coast looking for waves – any excuse for horny guys to get
together can also be a weekend of hot sex without calling in the suspicions of
a partner. It’s a great antidote to the frustrating issues of “can’t host”.
